Board Know-How! Goals

1.    To provide not-for-profit organizations a cost-effective source of high quality Board development, orientation and policy-development tools.

2.    To provide Board members with a clear understanding of the difference between governance (the Board’s job) and management (the staff’s job).

3.    To provide resources that fuel discussion on matters that all not-for-profit Boards should be addressing.

4.    To contribute to a healthy relationship between not-for-profit Boards and their Chief Staff Officers (e.g. Executive Director, CEO).
