Sandi L. Humphrey, CAE is the driving force behind Board Know-How!
Sandi served as an association executive for over twenty-five years, twelve of which were as Chief Staff Officer of an association comprised of Boards – it was there that Sandi’s interest and passion for governance took hold as she spent her days developing and delivering training for her membership.
Over the past ten years as a governance consultant, Sandi has authored, co-authored or contributed to a number of books and publications on not-for-profit governance. She has also spent considerable time traveling to deliver governance training to not-for-profit Boards. Aware of the considerable cost to bring in a governance expert to facilitate Board training, Sandi committed herself to finding a better way to help not-for-profit Boards enhance their governance capacity. Thus, the birth of Board Know-How! Now, for a fraction of the cost to bring in a governance expert for just one meeting, Boards can incorporate training, learning and/or policy development activities into every one of their meetings!
